I have played percussion for more than 20 years but the TABLA won my heart in 1995. Already feeling blessed to play this incredible instrument I was blown away on meeting my Bansuri (Flute ) Guru, Ashok Kumar in Varanasi in 2003. I then realised I had to seriously put my heart into the BANSURI as well as Tabla from then on ! The sacred city of Varanasi - a spiritual haven an ancient center for north Indian classical music has been a huge blessing and inspiration for me and has always been my base for learning Indian music, traveling back and forth almost annually since 1991.

I have been blessed to have worked with some wonderful musicians including , Baluji Shrivastav, Rollin Rachelle, Ashok Kumar metha and many more. I tour with some of the worlds top Kirtan-Chant artists including Bhagavan Das, Arjun Baba and Dave Stringer, annually with ARJUN BABA through Europe .

I focus my energy mainly on the healing and devotion aspects of music. In my solo performances I play various Raagas on Bansuri, and give tabla recitals, in certain situations i'll often combine concerts with a Kirtans. Within Yoga and Sacred sound work I run Yoga/healing music/Kirtan workshops and retreats, throughout Europe, these events combine therapeutic music with dynamic and restorative yoga,voice work and kirtan.

I deeply love dance and movement and work closely with dance companies composing and performing music for dynamic fusion works.Samples of these available on the video page . In my recording i also I play other instruments including Cojan, Iranian Daff and Jaw harps . I really owe the blessing of music to my SatGuru and eternal guide AMMACHI (Amritanandamayi Ma, to Ashok Kumar (Bansuri Guru) and the other great music teachers i have had along the way.
